"The Overlook" @ Gold River Camp is a unique tiny cabin that will make all your glamping dreams a reality.

Grounds include plenty of fire pits, a river front beach with and community gas and propane grills.

A former Gold & Gem Panning operation on the Second Broad River, this little slice of paradise was once a part of the United States' first gold rush, in one of the most bustling regions in the early 1800s.

This tiny "glamping" cabin is an oasis packed into 120-sf.

Complete with a mini-fridge, coffee maker and private back deck, this studio promises to be a cozy getaway. Gold River is the perfect base camp for your adventures; with dozens of activities within 30 minutes, you won't be short of entertaining options to choose from.

Tiny cabin does NOT have a bathroom, you will use a modern community bath house - please provide your own towels.

There is spotty (to NO) cell service so plan accordingly by downloading your favorite shows or podcasts on a tablet, or better yet, plan to have an off-screen getaway, you'll be thankful you did! We do have wi-fi that is generally spotty based on weather.

Other things to note
Cell Service is limited to T-Mobile only. We do have wi-fi, but still recommend - planning accordingly and downloading shows/podcasts before arrival. Or better yet, enjoy an off-screen weekend!

Don't forget a towel for the bath house.

Microwave is available for community use in the pavilion.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 10 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
