Pet Friendly Cabin with Pull-out Couch Glamping Cabin - The Basin

"The Basin" at Gold River Camp is a cabin-style studio at a former Gold & Gem Panning operation on the Second Broad River; this little slice of paradise was once a part of the United States' first gold rush, in one of the most bustling regions in the early 1800s.

You will have access to the campground's modern and clean bath house - there is NO bathroom in this unit.
The space

A campground vibe, but with modern amenities. This cabin boasts comfortable bedding and linens, a mini fridge and coffee maker. NO in-room bathroom, you will use a new community bath house with this unit.

Couch converts to a large full-sized bed and linens are stored within.

There is little (to NO) cell service (T-Mobile only) so plan accordingly by downloading your favorite shows or podcasts on a tablet, or better yet, plan to have an off-screen getaway, you'll be thankful you did! We do have wi-fi that is generally pretty spotty based on weather.

G.R. is the perfect base camp for your adventures; with dozens of activities within 30 minutes: waterfall hikes, tubing, biking, Lake James and Lake Lure, Black Mountain and not too far from Asheville.

The property included several community fire pits, grills, a relaxing river front, a pavilion with games, and horseshoe pits.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 10 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
